Many collection sites accept walk-ins, but policies and hours can vary by location. Review the site information shown when you place your order. If the location indicates that an appointment is required, contact the site before going.

Your order is scheduled to the collection site you selected. If you need to change locations, contact us before presenting for the test so the order can be properly redirected.

Routine urine drug testing generally does not require fasting. Do not stop or change a prescribed medication unless your healthcare provider tells you to do so.

No. A urine panel that includes alcohol is a laboratory urine test. It is different from a breath-alcohol test and should not be interpreted as a breath alcohol concentration result.

Your specimen is sent to a professional certified laboratory for testing. The laboratory performs the appropriate screening and, when required, confirmation testing before a final result is reported.

The laboratory first performs the initial drug screen. If the specimen is negative, the result can generally move through the reporting process without additional confirmation testing.

If the initial screen is non-negative, the laboratory performs additional confirmatory testing for the substance or substances involved before a final positive result is reported.

No. An initial non-negative laboratory screen is not necessarily the final result. Additional confirmation testing may be performed, and a Medical Review Officer may need to review the result before a final determination is released.

A Medical Review Officer is a licensed physician responsible for reviewing certain drug-test results. When appropriate, the MRO may contact the donor confidentially to determine whether there is a legitimate medical explanation, such as a valid prescription, before the final result is released.

Take your medications as prescribed. You generally do not need to explain your medications to the collection-site staff. If a result requires medical review, the MRO may contact you directly and may request information needed to verify a valid prescription.

Respond promptly to any MRO outreach so the review can be completed.

Many negative urine drug-test results are reported within 1–2 business days after the laboratory receives the specimen, although timing can vary.

If the specimen requires confirmation testing and/or Medical Review Officer review, the final result can take several additional business days. A typical non-negative review may take approximately 3–5 business days or longer depending on the testing and review required.

Once your order is completed, your Donor Pass is displayed on the confirmation screen so you can open, print, or save it. A copy is also sent to the donor email address entered with the order.
